Dailar Gurak
It is a joyous day a caring God extends its hand to us.
Dailar is a participant of the Fifth Crab Tournament. A wanderer from the apocalyptic frozen land of Arshamudd, his body is altered after having devoured one of his setting’s eldritch abominations. In his world, he will eventually become the hammer of the Empire and Atta’s adoptive father/guardian.
Appearance
Personality
Dailar is the autistic virtuoso type, and a man of very few words. He has a strong sense of honor and justice despite his appearance.
He is emotional deep down. He has a curious intellect and feels embarrassed at recognizing how precarious his education and means are. However he deals with such embarrassment through avoidance as he has no means. Dailar will defend the innocent but will also be willing to perform evil actions for that stead. He has the character of a protector.
He can be easily irritated and although he is a nice person deep down, it’s not beyond him to resort to brutal violence if it seems merited.
Powers and Abilities
Due to eating an aberration of his setting and surviving, Dailar’s body is warped. His power would increase the more monsters he devours.
He possesses increased resistance, strength, and speed to superhuman levels. His reflexes are particularly honed, able to react at seconds instance, move faster than the eye can see, and he is physically powerful enough to walk through a wall and the like.
Furthermore, Dailar has a very tactical mindset and is usually able to win battles with the least effort possible. His temperament allows him to lead if necessary.
His strength can fluctuate according to his level of desperation in a battle. However tapping too much into his eldritch power can cause his body to mutate further or even explode.
Background
History
Recruitment
Houndclops was transported to Arshamudd, where it found Dailar’s people, the teratophagois. As he seemed about to eat a girl, Dailar interceded and asked for Houndclops to leave. Feeling strangely intimidated, Houndclops agreed to after some talking, but then he found Dailar had changed his mind and realized the people there were seeing him as a snack. Dailar then ate Houndclops and was recruited by the new Gamemaster, planning to use the wish to help his downtrodden people.
