WHY DID YOU FORCE ME TO DO THIIIIIS!!!! IS AGAINST THE RULES!!!!!
The Gamemaster, also known as Gamemaster-Tan or Gamemaster-Chan depending on the form he takes, is the creator of the CRAB Tournament and organizer and supervisor of the first three Tourneys. He is an ageless, almighty, inter-dimensional wizard who kidnaps characters from different universes to force them to participate in his events with the promise of giving them a Wish.
Appearance
Personality
A wizard does not respond to common meanings of “morality”. The Gamemaster is old, extremely old, and has likely become jaded with time. Events and entire civilizations are born and die for his amusement. What exactly he wishes for with his action is unknown even by his closest associates like Berbie, but it could be surmised that to some degree he is interested in “stories” and “entertainment” - and the destruction of entire worlds and millions of lives is but an irrelevant cost for that goal.
The Gamemaster has strong pride in his wizard powers, and refuses to be depicted without his hat. Upon taking the form of a woman or a little girl he will insist on being treated accordingly despite others knowing his true old man form. Whether this is merely roleplay or these forms are genuine true aspects of his persona is unknown.
The Gamemaster is as well enforcing of the rules, but he allows for some degree of rules lawyering to troll Crabs or to come out unscathed, bending contracts as he wishes for his entertainment. He is usually completely uncaring of most Crabs, even the most devoted to him, but might as well obsess over others (such as his crush on Frankie Fisher).
Powers and Abilities
The Gamemaster is Almighty even beyond Almighty characters. By default he rules over every aspect and can force his will on other characters.
His predilect method of attack is the Fireball spell. The spell is shown as him lining up planets and then moving a sun to wipe them in one go with one move of his finger. He does not age, is completely immortal, and can warp reality at will. He is able to give others powers equal or any level lower to his own and even advance to a further form. He is followed as well by Bodycount, a doll containing the blood and souls of the trillions he killed, including entities on par with his power that he managed to best. He can also easily create potions that warp characters or give them powers as he desires.
The Gamemaster’s only weakness is sex - he must remain a virgin to keep his powers. Uber almighty characters such as Wanzu or complicated ritual spells cast by Tredecima were also shown to be able to temporarily hold him back, though to what extent he is playing along is unknown.
Background
History
Crab 1
The Gamemaster created the first Crab Tournament and trapped characters from several dimensions into his Bucket to watch them compete. The commentators were Wietse and Berbie and the Announcer was Frankenstein Girl. Ultimately the winner of the Wish was Linda, who asked for all the Crabs left alive to safely return home with no worlds destroyed.
Crab 2
The Gamemaster created the second Crab Tournament, with more characters. He kept Wietse and Berbie as announcers and Bodycount as his enforcer. During Round 2, he took on the shape of a woman, Gamemaster-Chan. This made one of the contestants, Chadwick, fall in love with the Gamemaster, a love that was entirely unrequited. Chadwick nonetheless won the tournament and wished to take the reins of CRAB, turning it into an eternal tourney with all the characters trapped inside.
The Gamemaster destroyed their worlds then, and left Crab to Chadwick to enjoy holidays in Ibiza. By absorbing the participant Balkari’s inner tiger demon during the restructuring of CRAB, he took on the form of an ugly sphinx cat to relax. Bodycount had been damaged during the fight against the participant Alexis.
Gamemaster-Chan destroys a loser world.
Crab 3
The Gamemaster created the Third Crab Tournament. He used Tenebris and Lurker as announcers - while Berbie was granted great power and turned into his new enforcer after Bodycount was retired.
During Round 2, the Gamemaster this time took on the form of a little girl, Gamemaster-Tan. He sent on Round 1 the Crabs to the Fantasy Land of Centuria, having their intrusion decide which faction ended up winning (it was the Empire). When the forest gnomes of Centuria begged for his help, the Gamemaster accepted and healed their sacred tree, Old Baum, in exchange for their servitude.
It was eventually revealed by Berbie that Gamemaster one day returned from his holidays in Ibiza and simply turned Chadwick into dust, resuming control of the Tournament. A great Rebellion occurred against the Gamemaster and his abuse, trying to free prisoners of Chadwick and Gamemaster trapped in the Nuremberg Crab Prisons. The Rebellion was ultimately crushed but Berbie was secretly working to help the Crabs and redeem himself - with his death, he created a safe haven for all the trapped Crabs from the previous tourney to live in.
At the end of the tourney, team Brat Pack won the Wish and asked to gain powers above all other beings. The Gamemaster gave them powers akin to his own but in exchange became an even stronger existence. He left then the tournament and moved away for the time being.
After the Trilogy
Gamemaster visited Lenard, who then took on his power and essence to create a Servant with which to overthrow the new Brat Gods. This being however was too powerful for Lenard and decided to do his own thing, becoming the second Gamemaster, D.O.O.M.V.A.
