Crab 5 banner (from G)
Crab 5 is the fifth installment of Comics and Random Art Battles and the first hosted by G. Marion-ette.
Summary
Background
Following the destruction of the D.O.O.M.V.A. at the conclusion of Crab 4, commentator Debbie Winters ascended to the GM role as an interim leader so that the wishes may be granted. Following her tenure, control was handed over to G. Marion-ette, a magical wizard puppet.
The tournament is being held within the confines of Cancer’s Case, an indestructible suitcase that is larger on the inside and acts as a communal hub.
Format
The format remains similar to Crab 4: 3 rounds of competition with 50 contestants split between 10 teams.
The Bench system returns and is expanded to include goals for Bench Crabs.
Alongside 4chan and Newgrounds, Tumblr was added as a recruitment site.
