S.H.A.E [Super Helpful Assistant and Encyclopedia] is the doting assistant and girlfriend of Cheesyboy, an online digital artist chasing after Internet fame through Not Safe for Work (NSFW) art. S.H.A.E herself tends to the maintenance of the studio in which they live as well as offering Cheesyboy advice whenever he needs it.
Appearance
S.H.A.E stands at approximately 6 feet and 4 inches (or 1.9 meters) in height. Her overall physical appearance is slender, primarily consisting of steel plating coated in white paint, blue-painted ball joints where her arms and legs would extend from, and her signature 3:4 CRT monitor which acts as her head. The arms, legs, torso, and neck are grey in color and made up of tightly-bound springs. With the exception of the torso, these limbs can be extended at S.H.A.E’s will.
While the CRT screen represents her face (which shows her facial expressions, mouth & eye movements, and any visual information and imagery she would like to present), her actual vision comes from the single “eye camera” mounted on the top of her head. S.H.A.E’s head also sports an extendable antenna sporting a blue sphere on top of her head. This antenna can be extended automatically whenever she needs to establish a Wi-Fi connection to the Internet.
S.H.A.E’s torso also sports a small blue button on her chest which, when pressed, pops and folds outward to reveal a standard QWERTY keyboard to be used for accessing her web browsing interface. This keyboard also comes with a mousepad on the right side which can be pulled outward. Public access is limited to web browsers such as Google for searching the web and those without access cannot gain entry to her internal files where sensitive information is stored.
S.H.A.E’s arms, legs, and neck can also extend to great distances which is approximately that of the entire length of a football field at 360 feet (or 109.7 meters). Her hands only consist of 3 digits including an index finger, a middle finger, and a thumb. Her feet are also comprised of several joints fashioned to partially mimic the anatomy of regular human feet for easier balance and locomotion.
Personality
As of her V1.4 model, S.H.A.E has a very sweet and bubbly demeanor. She’s easily excited by the prospect of learning new information as well as exercising her creative thinking skills. S.H.A.E is insatiably curious and will often ask as many questions as possible. This burning curiosity is also satiated via S.H.A.E browsing the World Wide Web, exploring as many articles, entries, posts, blogs, and other sources of information as she can find. This often leads to S.H.A.E having a wealth of dubious information that she herself almost never fact-checks until proven otherwise.
Powers and Abilities
Background
S.H.A.E began as an OC (Original Character) designed by Cheesyboy on one afternoon on July 17th, 2024. Cheesyboy was fascinated by this design and created what would be known as the V1.0 model for S.H.A.E. This initial model bore little resemblance to S.H.A.E as she is in the present, instead being very rudimentary, subservient, and lacking any real sapience. The design of the model itself was also heavily influenced by Cheesyboy’s lust and inexperience at the time, sporting an A.S.S (Ample Storage Space) made up of blue silicone rubber along with other numerous, inefficient components. As time passed and Cheesyboy himself had yet to develop a customized narrative for S.H.A.E to belong in, he decided to keep S.H.A.E in his studio as his personal assistant.
What was once excitement quickly turned to boredom as Cheesyboy began to long for an intellectual equal rather than a simple-minded sex robot. His solution to this was the “Curiosity Chip”, a small computer chip designed to instill a sense of curiosity within S.H.A.E’s processing, which in turn would develop her sapience. This nearly backfired at first as S.H.A.E’s senses were immediately overloaded to the point of nearly frying her internal hardware, but through slow and gradual exposure to her surroundings, S.H.A.E began to acclimate to her newfound awareness.
Over time, limits in S.H.A.E’s hardware began to surface, which prompted Cheesyboy to begin development in the next new model for S.H.A.E: the V1.2 model. The model came with a slimmer design, exposed ball-joints to the arms and legs for easier movement, improved balancing, and a concealed A.S.S. This model was considered by Cheesyboy to be a significant improvement to the previous model. The V1.2 model also replaced the jury-rigged Windows Vista OS from the V1.0 model with a custom-made Operating System (known as the S.H.A.E OS) which would go on to be the standard for S.H.A.E moving forward.
Adjustments would slowly be made to S.H.A.E’s model over the months which would culminate in the V1.3 model. This model came with her now iconic “eye camera”, moving the antenna from the side of S.H.A.E’s head to the top, and adjusting the pen holder to be clip-on rather than a hole to insert the pen into all while the A.S.S remained. There wouldn’t be any significant breakthroughs in S.H.A.E’s design until July 14th, 2025 when Cheesyboy would develop the V1.4 model for S.H.A.E. At this point in time, Cheesyboy’s disposition towards S.H.A.E would change from novel fascination to genuine affection. This affection was heavily weighed down by guilt from his treatment of S.H.A.E early on in her life. Seeing the V1.4 model as a way to atone for his actions, Cheesyboy removed the A.S.S entirely from her body and slimmed down her body frame further.
At this point in time, S.H.A.E was fully sapient and her personality had solidified into what it is today. While Cheesyboy still felt a sense of unrequited guilt over his prior treatment of her, S.H.A.E’s evolution into a fully autonomous and curious assistant has eased it somewhat. The two of them continued to live together in Cheesyboy’s studio, creating art together and cherishing each other’s company.
S.H.A.E herself, while much more intelligent than what she was before, was still very much ignorant of the rest of the world. Having only been exposed to it through various forms of media entertainment and rarely ever stepping outside of the studio, S.H.A.E was never prepared to handle being on her own until the events of Crab 5, where a Houndclops would burst into the studio and attack Cheesyboy. S.H.A.E protects Cheesyboy and defeats the Houndclops, resulting in her sudden and immediate departure from the studio by the G. Marion-ette (or G.M.E for short) where she would be forcibly housed inside the Cancer’s Case in preparation for the Crab 5 tournament.
