Recap

From the wiki page Wietse Johannes Willemsma:

In Tredecima’s reality, Wietse was despairing pre-match about the impossible battle ahead, when he was called. He packed then the weapons he got from Nuremberg. The moment the battle started, he shot the Zero Bazooka to his enemy, seemingly completely erasing her. Everyone then clapped - except, he then woke up to see himself holding Kome’s severed head. Wietse began to experience them murdering his entire team and burning their base, as Tredecima spoke to him, telling him how it was his selfish desire to revenge against Berbie which had pushed the team to this end, and Evelin as well, and calling Wietse rotten. She then invited Wietse to forget about the world that treated him so wrongly, and dance with his love. Seeing a vision of his true love from his world, Wietse began dancing - but in reality, he danced in the stage with Tredecima, trapped in a trance, both of them dancing and dancing, twelve other figures surrounding them and clapping. Tredecima finished by kissing Wietse, who fainted. After this, Tredecima began interrogating Wietse in his mind: who was he, how did he feel, what did he wish for the tournament - but as she repeated the questions, he forgot more and more of who he was. As the question seemingly endlessly repeated, Wietse grew silent, then responded they wished to see their father, and that they were Tredecima. Awaking as yet another Tredecima, the once Wietse was welcomed to the fold.

In Wietse’s canon reality, Wietse reminisced, Berbie wishing him good luck before his battle, his rebellion allies being concerned for him, and Kome being mad at Wietse for abandoning the team and joining the rebellion, causing the GM to give him that match as a punishment and making them all Tredecima’s targets. Wietse marched into the arena, the spectator sites almost deserted. Intimidated by Tredecima, Wietse began the battle by shooting the zerozooka, destroying Tredecima. Everyone celebrated, Wietse happy that he would finally be able to wish for his father to revive, before remembering his father was still alive. Waking up from a trance, Tredecima and Wietse danced, upon seeing this Kome told the Brats to leave to not see the incoming execution. Wietse pushed the empress back but upon trying to hit Tredecima he instead hit himself, in order to dispel another attempt of the witch to influence his mind. Tredecima kept invading Wietse’s thoughts, showing him even that she was about to attack his team. Desperate, Wietse recalled the words of his own father about finding a way to win his battles… except he soon saw his father as Alicade, Tredecima’s own father. Waking up in panic, he found himself at the Harvest Festival with his love, Monique, the tournament having been apparently a dream. She invited him to dance and so they did, and through the dance, Tredecima slowly absorbed and deleted Wietse’s own ego, replacing it with her own. However, before everything was lost, a memory of Wietse’s own future lost son materialized in his mind, pushing back against her control. His son told him he believed in him and to push back, and the shackles of Tredecima began deteriorating, releasing Wietse who struggled for control against a Tredecima full of disbelief at their filial bond being strong enough to do this in comparison to her own. Both Wietse and Tredecima reached for control, but ultimately he won and managed to push his dancing partner off the arena - although changed and deformed into a semi-Tredecima form, Wietse obtained victory, and was held by his fellow rebels. Defeated, Tredecima threatened she would capture and examine Wietse, interested in his will, but he challenged her to catch him first, as he was not alone. A smiling but sour Tredecima admitted her defeat for now.
