Paulus (full name Paulus de Boskabouter) is a participant of Crab 2, joining Team Terrible troupe. He is a semi divine cryptid of the Dutch forests, a gnome devoid of all rules in his existence who enjoys solitude and mushrooms. He is on good terms with the Gamemaster.
Appearance
Personality
He behaves a bit like a grumpy old man or your racist grandpa. It’s been stated he doesn’t like other cryptids besides his own kin and tends to call other people slurs. He tends to nature and will teach children to safeguard it - often killing adults who do not.
Despite this he was noticeably amiable enough to invite Janny for drinks and seems to not look for trouble if left unbothered. He is also clearly a purveyor of fine pleasures like wine and coffee.
He often speaks in rhymes.
Powers and Abilities
Paulus is a semi deity of nature and her powers allow him to exist outside of the regular rules of reality, which warps around him. He is powerful enough to be on decent terms with the Gamemaster.
He possesses terraforming abilities and control over nature itself, as well as mushrooms, being able to even make mushrooms appear in a human’s brain. He can power himself into a muscular form, travel through dimensions, move the earth and make forests grow and summon all sorts of forest-friends, etc. Because of all of this, he is likely the strongest member of Terrible Troupe… if he cared to act.

Paulus was invited by the GM to join, which he agreed to knowing he would have no accountability for whatever he did during the tournament.
Round 1
Janitor (won, entry) vs Paulus de B (lost, entry) in Snooker. Match page: C2 R1 - Janitor vs Paulus
In Paulus’s reality, Paulus noted there was a problem - he was too short to even see the table. Janitor told him to fix it and Paulus then called a bear friend, Ollie, to replace him during the game. After losing, Janny angered noted that was cheating, but Paulus retorted he could not even reach the table and offered for them to call it a draw and grab a coffee together, which they did.
In the Janitor’s canon reality, he victoriously entered the land of the gods where the pool game was about to happen, he lit a cigarette, studied the table, and prepared a powerful shot. Despite all the windup the shot went completely off the table, breaking through a god sculpture and terribly missing. Janitor then admitted he was more of a bowling person.
Round 2

In France, Tammy took the wizard hat, and Paulus became 10 years older with no change.
In Tammy’s reality, she out-drank him at 16 wine bottles.
In Paulus’s reality, he was drinking with Janny when he got summoned by GM to pick his potion. He picked the age potion because GM wouldn’t tell him what kind of hat it was. He was sent to France. There he met a friend called Dabbert and they drank together. Tammy complained she was meant to be his opponent and both threw her out of the bar’s window.
Round 3
Paulus de B (lost, entry) vs Soil Repair Unit (won). Match page: C2 R3 - Paulus vs SRU
In Paulus’s reality, he defeated SRU by growing fungus inside it. SRU retired to do gardening and Paulus asked to leave as he was tired of rhyming.
After an amazing battle, Paulus powered up but was defeated by SRU, who gave most Crabs radiation poisoning during the battle. He treated them after.
After Crab 2
After the Chads won he was trapped like every other Crab into Eternal Crab under the rule of Chadwick, forced to compete in tournament after tournament. He made his own forest and retired there in solitude.
He was ultimately freed like the others thanks to Berbie during the events of Crab 3.

He got along with Janitor and Vivian.
He often just spent time in his forest, which became a famous location.
