Berlo has arrived.

Berlo is a recurring character in the CRAB Tournaments, both as a participant and an observer.

Appearance

Personality

Enigmatic and mysterious, a completely alien entity. It is impossible to know what he’s going to do next, and why. Don’t even try to understand his motivations. He is just there. He is just Berlo.

Following his stint in Hell and subsequent resurrection, Berlo is in constant physical and emotional pain.

Powers and Abilities

Berlo’s main ability is complete and utter immortality - it simply does not matter what occurs to him, he will always reappear at some point.

He has been shown to be capable of piloting a series of mechs created by Contestro to aid his perpetually decaying body. One of them was powerful enough to smash Tammy Mato into soup, showing he has some level of ability with technology. His pistol could also as well shoot powerful laser beams capable of demolishing parts of a building.

Background

History

Crab 1

Berlo was an observer of Crab 1, working for the Gamemaster.

He was kidnapped and interrogated by Asha, upon which he revealed the Gamemaster’s weakness: SEX. After this, the rebellious woman rigged him with explosives and used him as bait to draw Pikralida out and detonate both together, killing them.

Although badly wounded, Berlo reappeared, but then he was atomized by the Gamemaster for his betrayal and sent to Hell, seemingly dying (he did not die.)

Crab 2

Berlo reappeared on Crab 2, this time as a participant - kept alive by a machine suit allowing him to still exist although in perpetual agony, a device made by Contestro, and having been dragged out of hell by Fernando.

Round 2

In Berlo’s reality, he and Contestro allied to build the castles, with Contestro ordering him to fill his mouth with sand faster and faster as failure was not an option. He then used Contestro as a mold to make a big castle, which Contestro argued was superior to his opponents, though his opponents argued it was just a lump and barely looked like a castle.

In John’s canon reality, toy versions of Amable and John were created as replacements, and using their plane functions, they dove into Berlo and Contestro’s sand twin towers and destroyed them. Wietse reported then the attack to the Gamemaster, who did not seem impressed.

Round 3

In Berlo’s reality, he shot Tammy in the mouth then dive jumped into her smashing her with a powerful attack.

In Tammy’s canon reality, Tammy was sour and hanging at the loser column when a man appeared and offered to help her win. For money, he took her to a man who gave her gloves that would make her fast as a bullet, immune to everything and ultra strong, but also had a button that would blow her up. Then, the business man charged her more money and took her to a witch that gave her several unlabeled potions that could make her stronger, invisible, or kill her. Tammy asked for a way to get back to the Bucket and the business man charged her to take her to the previous seller, who sold her a ship, then the businessman sold her the keys of the ship, Tammy exasperated. At 5 seconds before her time to arrive was out, Tammy landed on her ship near Berlo, but when she exited the hatch he aimed at her with the gun. Tammy replied by hitting the self destruct button on her glove, exploding the Bucket - I mean, everything BUT the Bucket and somehow surviving, celebrating as she saw Berlo’s fragments floating in space.

After Crab 2

Berlo was seemingly dead and thus did not suffer Eternal Crab. His death at Tammy’s hands brought him peace.

Crab 3

In Crab 3, Berlo was brought back from the dead with Cyrus’s magic to replace Jupiter in her Round 1.

Round 1

Celia Pinewood (won, entry) vs Jupiter Jovian (lost, entry) in Uncover/Hide The Truth. Match page: C3 R1 - Celia vs Jupiter

In Centuria, Celia was assigned to the Empire, and Jupiter to the Horde.

Jupiter did not deliver. But in the opposing reality, Celia explored an evil wizard’s tower in search of an ambiguous answer, though she found only a bingo card. While she was searching, the tower came under attack by Berlo, who promptly threw himself out a window and died. The situation left Celia with more questions than answers.

In Celia’s canon reality, Celia was sent to a remote ruin by the Emperor to destroy a magical painting using Alchemist’s Fire. The Emperor instructed her to not look at the painting under any circumstance. When Celia arrived at the ruin, Jupiter stalked her silently and undetected. Celia found the painting, and was overcome by her curiosity, glancing into it. The painting twisted magically and revealed a dark secret of how the emperor betrayed one of his generals, launching the Empire and the Horde into a war. Jupiter oversaw this secret as it was revealed, and attempted to take the painting from Celia by force. In the struggle, Celia broke her lantern over Jupiter’s head, and used a bottle of Alchemist’s Fire to detonate the spilled oil. Celia used the pin on her hat to safely observe the ensuing explosion, and Jupiter was sent flying across the sky, landing on a distant mountaintop. The painting was destroyed and Jupiter fucking died.

Berlo remained alive somehow, seen spectating a few matches. He met Schlorbo, a creature Monomyth brought with them unaware, and a steamy romance began. They married on the beaches of Japan. In the end, Berlo was hit by Awesoman’s Awesome’o’vision during the hero’s match with Lenard and seemingly turned into a potato.

He will most assuredly return.

After Crab 3

Nothing is known about Berlo’s fate after being accidentally turned into a potato by Awesoman.
