Appearance
Personality
In a choice between dying and awakening his latent mutation, John chose the latter. Now he’s stuck with a power he can’t control, sworn to taking revenge against his friend’s killer(s) whilst fighting his own inner demons— inner demons that manifest as violent urges from his lizard half.
Powers and Abilities
Lizard Form: Allows user to utilize abilities from members of the Reptilia family, which includes enhanced strength, regeneration, and senses. User is susceptible to violent urges as a result of lizard instincts, which are triggered by intense levels of stress or emotion. Enough stress/emotion can cause user to reach a breaking point, ultimately triggering a Berserker Mode. Limits currently unknown.
Berserker Mode: A facet of lizard form in which the user is granted immense amounts of additional strength and power at the cost of their cognizance. User completely succumbs to instinct and is extremely dangerous in this state. Do not engage. Limits currently unknown.
Keen intellect: User is above average in intelligence as a result of their own natural abilities and being generally booksmart. Lends to better prediction, deduction, and general critical-thinking skills overall.
Background
History
Round 1
John (LOST) VS Nathan (WON) VS
He won in a stupid way and everyone booed him as he victoriously posed.
John then tried to leave the Tournament. He was possibly eaten by Bodycount? Or more likely murdered by Bellboy during his rage-fueled attack in his show in France. I guess that fits.
Manarchy then built robot replicas of both him and Amable. Likely using Amable’s tech.
Round 2
Berlo and Contestro (lost, entry) vs John and Amable (won, entry) in Sand Castles. Match page: C2 R2 - Berlo and Contestro vs John and Amable
In Berlo’s reality, he and Contestro allied to build the castles, with Contestro ordering him to fill his mouth with sand faster and faster as failure was not an option. He then used Contestro as a mold to make a big castle, which Contestro argued was superior to his opponents, though his opponents argued it was just a lump and barely looked like a castle.
In John’s canon reality, toy versions of Amable and John were created as replacements, and using their plane functions, they dove into Berlo and Contestro’s sand twin towers and destroyed them. Wietse reported then the attack to the Gamemaster, who did not seem impressed.
Round 3
Both robots were destroyed by Balkari during her rampage against everyone.
After Crab 2
John likely remained dead. Or perhaps he was alive and forced to compete in Eternal Crab like everyone else. Most likely died.
In /crab/, John makes fast friends with the whole of Manarchy until his untimely demise in Round 2.
It is heavily implied that John has little-to-no friends back in his own universe.
John tries to get drunk and high at least once and succeeds thanks to Akio. Wakes up in Amsterdam with no recollection of the night prior.

Trivia
- John has ended up being misnamed the most out of any contestant as a result of a joke in his Round 1 animatic. His robotic counterpart, “Jackbot,” ended up reflecting that.
- While John came to /crab/ of his own accord, he would have attempted to fight GM had there not been an incentive to participate in the tournament (the wish).
- The lambda symbol on John’s belt denotes the physical symbol for wavelength, which alludes to the wave (of particles) that gave him his powers.
- John’s favorite foods are steak and fettuccine alfredo. He has cooked for his team (and other deserving /crab/ members) at least once.
