Dizzy
Chaotic Goodness
Field Value Full Name Dizzy Alias Gender Female Age 23 World Magic World Occupation Mage Assistant Status Alive (Wietse’s right hand) Role Participant Team Light Magic Club Edition Crab 3 Creator
It's part of my tradition as a magician to help warriors in their quest.
Dizzy is a participant of Crab 3, joining the team Light Magic Club. She is an assistant magician specializing in astral traveling and size/reality manipulation.
Appearance
Personality
Dizzy is bubbly and good-natured. She likes helping others and contrary to many of her peers has no trouble socializing, developing friendships and relationships with members of other teams. Because of this, she serves as the Light Magic Club’s main point of interaction with others and social presence. Although not particularly ambitious, she will come up and implement ideas without listening to others in many situations.
Dizzy is a pacifist who prefers not to kill, but her magic can often cause uncontrolled chaos.
Powers and Abilities
Despite calling herself a “mid-tier” magician, it comes to show the scale of Dizzy’s world that her powers are among the most feared in the tournament, and she is believed to be able to give opponents such as Tredecima, future Kome or Lenard a run for their money. Dizzy’s magic allows her to create shifts on reality - such as making herself giant, turning Ocapon’s head-building into a base for her team, astral projecting, or transforming other characters into living objects, as well as project illusions. Her magic is chaotic and the limitations of it are not exactly known by the other characters, giving one the impression she operates on cartoon logic.
She has an army of herself pulled from different times, which she uses for assistance. She is able in tarot reading, and can create portals to specific locations. She is shown being able to summon different creatures in her first match, including a giant laser-shooting abomination and a powerful boxer creature, as well as fleshy knights. Her ultimate technique creates a “domain” around her on which the fourth wall is constantly broken, any enemies hit by her abilities are quickly sucked into her gemstone necklace, securing her victory.
A weakness of hers is that much of her magic power comes from the amulet she carries on her neck. Her size-shifting spell is also tied to the sash she wears. The “cartoon logic” of her magic also makes herself vulnerable to her own antics if the opponent is ingenious enough.
Background
History
Round 1
Boxing Wizard (won, entry) vs Dizzy (lost) in Entertain The Masses. Match page: C3 R1 - Boxing Wizard vs Dizzy
In Centuria, both Dizzy and the Boxing Wizard were made part of the Brotherhood of Shadows.
In Dizzy’s reality, Boxing Wizard was beating her ass so Dizzy contacted Ocapon for help. Ocapon just asked Dizzy why did she choose boxing as their entertainment. A baffled Dizzy could not respond as the signal from her magic call began warping the audience and turning them into flesh-eating zombies. Grabbing the now unconscious Boxing Wizard to rescue him, Dizzy opened a portal and returned back to the base with him.
In Boxing Wizard’s canon reality, Dizzy and the Boxing Wizard were teleported into the arena by a puppet from the Brotherhood in order to entertain the population of the Empire and distract them from the ongoing war. Dizzy tried to entertain the masses by summoning two creatures who died to a horrible giant monstrosity, but was booed because it was gross. Boxing Wizard did punch-games with a rock, eventually punching it hard enough to destroy the monstrosity. Seeing the audience cheer, Dizzy summoned more monsters for Boxing Wizard to defeat by punching rocks - ultimately creating a Big Bad opponent. Boxing Wizard had a vision and punched the being so hard he destroyed the arena, knocking out Dizzy as well.
Round 2
Wietse Johannes Willemsma (won) vs Dizzy (lost, entry) in Visual Kei. Match page: C3 R2 - Wietse vs Dizzy
Dizzy drank the aging potion, while Wietse drank the gender potion.
In Dizzy’s reality, she prepared to play with Wietse. She requested items from several characters: Sentimia’s hair as guitar strings, a stave from Tripp’s cannabis tree for her guitar, and something from Senjata from Overkill, whom she dated. She asked Ocapon to build her guitar. With the other Dizzies helping them set the stage, Dizzy encountered Wietse and told her it was his fate to be a musician, not hers, and that she would help him in every way she could.
In Wietse’s canon reality, it continued from Dizzy’s own, as the two Crabs prepared to play, Dizzy helping to adjust Wietse’s corset and giving each other the last touches. They discussed the idea of Dizzy helping Wietse in his quest as a “warrior”, something he always dreamed to be as a kid, with the witch saying his guitar was his sword, which Wietse liked. Ready then, both played their song in front of an audience of many, with several Crabs cheering them on among the crowd.
Round 3
Z (won, entry) vs Dizzy (lost, entry). Match page: C3 R3 - Z vs Dizzy
Dizzy fought a shadow copy of Z for Round 3, in replacement of the dead Desmond.
In Dizzy’s reality, Dizzy began by congratulating Z’s handwriting, also being amazed at the shadow crab’s willpower. Z shot thunder at Dizzy, but she turned the electricity into a lasso and tied Z with it. She turned Z into a battery then and inserted them into an old radio. The shadow felt sad because the other shadows would laugh at them and no one even listened to radio anymore, admitting Dizzy’s win when she kindly planted them outside the arena.
In Z’s canon reality, the Shadow approached Dizzy with the same letter, stating it would attack after 30 seconds and that the real Z would join after being done with Celia. Dizzy added 0’s to the seconds, stopping the shadow from attacking - but the shadow got mad and began pushing Dizzy off the arena. Reality then stopped, with Dizzy observing it and eating cake, commenting on her woes during the tournament. The shadow broke out of the cinema-reality, angry and ready to fight Dizzy, who pied it. The shadow responded by electrocuting Dizzy, but this just made her burn in a cartoon way. Responding with a massive explosion, it seemed the battle had finished - but then the real Z appeared, aiming at Dizzy with a Senjata gun they had gotten from Overkill, with homing properties. Through contract-absorbing the gun’s powers, Z had made it so that anything they would throw would hit their mark - the top of the Bucket. After firing there, Z’s shadow pushed Dizzy, who flew upwards to hit out of bounds… However, Dizzy then created a clone and threw a rabbit at Z thinking it was its weakness. Z responded by destroying the Dizzy clone with lightning, but during that distraction failed to notice the real Dizzy creating an anvil and used it as weight to fall down from the shot. Dizzy then revealed her final power, a total fourth wall break domain. Taking over even the narration, Dizzy avoided falling upwards after Z shot her rope by holding onto the panel borders, and kicked a narration box at her rival, sealing them in her gemstone, then kicking the stone out of the comic. The Shadow Z responded by electrocuting the panel border they shared with Dizzy, electrocuting her as well with it, releasing the domain, and catching the gemstone-trapped Z before it hit the out of bounds.
After Crab 3
After the tournament, Dizzy returned to her world, after grieving the dead Overkill. Eventually, she took up Wietse’s offer to join him at the Bratheon as his right hand. She is seen in Kome’s epilogue in her giantess form seeing Evelin arrest some people.
Relationships
Life Within CRAB
She and Overkill dated, and helped each other through their matches. She did not join his rebellion, but assisted him and read him his future in their final encounter.
