Appearance
Personality
Boxing Wizard barely appears to be aware of his surroundings. He practices his boxing non-stop, with whatever he has available. He is mute but neither he seems to try to communicate with others.
He is shown to become excited when facing a powerful opponent.
Powers and Abilities
Boxing Wizard has powerful physical capabilities. He was able to punch rocks with enough strength to obliterate enemies on impact - to dodge faster than the eye can see. On Centuria, a serious punch of his was more than enough to completely destroy the arena he was standing on.
Being a wizard, he might have access to other spells, but its likely he focuses all of his magic on his strength and boxing skills.
Background
History
Round 1
Boxing Wizard (won, entry) vs Dizzy (lost) in Entertain The Masses. Match page: C3 R1 - Boxing Wizard vs Dizzy
In Centuria, both Dizzy and the Boxing Wizard were made part of the Brotherhood of Shadows.
In Dizzy’s reality, Boxing Wizard was beating her ass so Dizzy contacted Ocapon for help. Ocapon just asked Dizzy why did she choose boxing as their entertainment. A baffled Dizzy could not respond as the signal from her magic call began warping the audience and turning them into flesh-eating zombies. Grabbing the now unconscious Boxing Wizard to rescue him, Dizzy opened a portal and returned back to the base with him.
In Boxing Wizard’s canon reality, Dizzy and the Boxing Wizard were teleported into the arena by a puppet from the Brotherhood in order to entertain the population of the Empire and distract them from the ongoing war. Dizzy tried to entertain the masses by summoning two creatures who died to a horrible giant monstrosity, but was booed because it was gross. Boxing Wizard did punch-games with a rock, eventually punching it hard enough to destroy the monstrosity. Seeing the audience cheer, Dizzy summoned more monsters for Boxing Wizard to defeat by punching rocks - ultimately creating a Big Bad opponent. Boxing Wizard had a vision and punched the being so hard he destroyed the arena, knocking out Dizzy as well.
Round 2
Boxing Wizard (lost, entry) vs Godefroy Des Ètoiles (won, entry) in Shinkansen. Match page: C3 R2 - Boxing Wizard vs Godefroy
Having drunk the kemono potion (turning into a horse) Godefroy faced a seemingly unchanged wizard who took the aging potion.
In the Boxing Wizard’s reality, both encountered each other at the train, and the Wizard opened by punching Godefroy several times in his chest. Godefroy took out his kemono potion, but the Wizard exploded it with another punch and hit the Frenchman hard enough to send him flying. However, for the first time after that the Boxing Wizard raised his guard, seemingly wary as light emerged from where Godefroy had fallen.
In Godefroy’s canon reality, Godefroy was sitting on the train, reminiscing of his adventures, when the thoughts were interrupted by the memory of the dead Teresa, which turned him to tears. Distracted then by the Wizard appearing and training his boxing in the wagon, Godefroy observed the attitude was similar to how Teresa trained her magic for fun, living for herself. With the decision to live for himself then, he prepared to face the enemy for fun as well.
After Round 2, the Hateful Eight fell apart and were disbanded. Boxing Wizard was adopted by Odyssey, who hoped to make him into their decisive weapon.
Round 3
Boxing Wizard (lost) vs Rhea Nohoa and Monkshood (won, entry). Match page: C3 R3 - Boxing Wizard vs Rhea and Monkshood
Boxing Wizard was NOT Odyssey’s decisive weapon, as he failed to materialize.
In Rhea’s only and canon reality, Rhea went into Monomyth’s base looking for Adni, who was desperately looking for Pillow and seeking to leave the tournament. Their fight had started minutes ago, but Adni replied he could not fight as finding Pillow was more important to him, equating the relationship to that of Rhea’s and Monkshood. Although Rhea accepted this, she was bothered people thought of herself as useless without the cat and wanted to prove them wrong. On the rescheduled match, Rhea jumped into the arena ready to prove herself, and began insulting the Boxing Wizard, who responded by delivering a devastating blow to her stomach. Angered, Rhea transformed into her full werewolf form, causing many in the audience to laugh. At that point Monkshood arrived, and observed how Rhea quickly tore her enemy apart, ripping its arms and bisecting him. Worried, he requested Sentimia to transport him inside the arena, and told a rabid Rhea to stop herself. Rhea refused, but when Monkshood asked to know her wish, she hesitated and was then knocked out by the Wizard, who regenerated and used his cut off fists as floating weapons. Taking over the battle, Monkshood then engaged the opponent, using his prediction to dodge the blows. Rhea then was awoken by Sentimia, who cheekily played her to convince her to go help her friend. Choosing to outspeed the Wizard, Rhea and Monkshood danced around it until she double-jaw-kicked him sending him flying upwards in a massive blast, leaving the creature merely a torso floating in orbit. The audience was however enraged at this development, saying Rhea had received help from both Sentimia and her cat. Immediately afterwards, the Ant jumped into the arena and hit Rhea’s leg, causing Sentimia to jump as well and begin their battle.
After Crab 3
After Brat Pack’s victory, Boxing Wizard remained dead. It is unknown if Sunny chose to revive him as a thrall.
