Kif is a participant of Crab 1, joining Team Powerhouse. A bodyguard from a princess on a kingdom where emotions fuel power, he tries to act like a mighty warrior but is actually a panicky hunk of a man.
Appearance
Personality
Although he has the looks of a thug, Kif is easily scared and goes into panic quickly. He however generally manages to power through… Most of the times at least. She is especially terrified of the undead and could barely function near the announcer.
Kif is an honest individual and tries to show his bravery to others, as he was motivated by Emily on his first match. He tries to maintain an image of strength and dignity in front of other Crabs, though he does not always succeed. Outside of this, he is a nice guy, maybe a bit of a softie.
He has shown to have intellect for planning when the situation requires and can strategize, as he managed to get Taya to bring her guard down to beat her, as well as in his own comic.
Powers and Abilities
Outside of the strength and resistance his big physique grants him, Kif possesses the ability to make objects grow. This power is fueled by his fear - the more he fears the more they will grow - and it’s instant. Kif has skill in playing with the mass of objects in order to throw light things that become heavy or other uses, although instinctively, the reason this ability exists is to hide behind things when he is afraid.
He is equipped with a turtle shell shield on his arm, which is usually what he grows - he can launch it as a disk or use it as a powerful barrier against attacks.

Recruitment
Kif gathered with the team, and nervously watched as Asha pointed out they did not know the prize yet. Conqueror interrupted, declaring they did not need a prize to do their best and to show their ambition and virtue. Asha however replied they DID need a prize.
Round 1

In Kif’s reality, Conqueror told Kif there was no backing out now as he was scared because of seeing the Franken-Girl announcer. Asha booed Kif and Emily instead cheered him on, and the man gathered courage and decided to go. After a fantastic dynamic entrance, he introduced himself full of confidence, but when the Gamemaster introduced the announcer Kif got a panic attack and began rambling and covering himself at the dead stitched lady. Conqueror facepalmed, Incel stared, Emily prayed for the suffering of those watching to end and Asha decided to leave then. However Kif pretended to be only playing and managed to tell the wizard to call his opponent. The Gamemaster then summoned Bodycount, which Kif gasped at, saying he had never seen anything so repulsive. He then however saw Berlo and instantly fainted. As the announcer and the Gamemaster looked in disbelief, the mage in the end just used Kif’s hand with magic to toss a coin, and declared Bodycount the winner.
In Bodycount’s canon reality, Kif did the coin toss required by Bodycount and nervously saw he had failed. The doll then detected him and activated, a living abomination corpse emerging out of it much to the man’s terror. The creature then ripped Kif’s heart as Bodycount smiled… but the Gamemaster stopped it and resurrected Kif, giving him a new heart and noting they would not die yet in this round. Bodycount ate Kif’s old heart and went to sleep.

Both Terriful and Kif panicked at each other and neither showed up to fight.
Round 3
Kif (lost, entry) vs Taya Miantos (won, entry). Match page: C1 R3 - Kif vs Taya
In Kif’s reality, both just stared at each other without making a move until Taya asked him if he would just stand there. Nervous, Kif pointed out she had not moved either. Taya replied ladies never made the first move and that she could tell he was stronger than her. He said he was taught to never underestimate an opponent and that he would NEVER strike first, causing everyone to facepalm. To end things instead, he suggested gambling, and Taya agreed but threatened him with her gun that she would be the one to pick the game. Taya chose cards, and said they would play Go Fish, which Kif had no idea what it was. She began then cheating and Kif complained to the Gamemaster he did not even know the rules of the game, but the wizard allowed it anyways and deleted the color from the comic’s next pages. Saddened, Kif made his turtle shell grow and hid himself inside to rethink things, and when Taya complained the Gamemaster said he would allow it too. She began pestering him to play, and when she opened the shell Kif shouted that he had said he wanted time to think and knocked her out cold. Then Kif declared that he did not intend to… take that long. He was then declared the winner.
In Taya’s canon reality, Kathrine panicked and said screw you to the GM, attempting to escape the Bucket by flying. However, the moment she crossed the arena limits her body was grossly severed and she fell dead, then she was revived. As this happened, Taya was not paying attention to Linda’s explanation of Kif’s powers that make things grow whenever he is afraid. Linda noted there would be no other objects in the arena anyways. Many rounds later, their fight finally began, and both battled epically in the arena. Matched, Kif smiled and complimented Taya, and decided to use his spinning shield. Taya responded by pulling out her gun, noting she only had one bullet, much to his panic. This caused his power to activate and make the arena grow, covering for him as he hid behind and asked the girl to not shoot. Taya said she would, causing more parts of the arena to grow, and kept threatening him until the grows pushed Kif off the arena… however, the panic of being about to lose made his power go all out and the whole arena began growing wildly, launching them upwards towards the limit, the same that had killed Kathrine. Suddenly it all stopped, and Taya realized Kif had controlled his power and, to her surprise, he was contorting himself in order to not be slain by the ceiling. As Kif began to give his ultimatum, he opened his eyes and noticed the ceiling had left Taya bald, and he began laughing. With his fear suddenly completely vanished, his powers deactivated and the arena rapidly shrunk, so the girl stuck her shovel to a wall to keep herself safe while Kif knocked himself out in the fall, losing. The Crabs laughed as Taya was declared the winner.
After Crab 1
After the tournament ended, Kif was returned to his world thanks to Linda’s wish.
Relationships
Life Within CRAB
He was panicked after getting killed by Bodycount. He is at this moment the only victim of Bodycount to survive thanks to the Gamemaster’s mercy (although Mishka and Asha managed to overcome Bodycount through different means).
Kif was generally friendly with everyone both in his team and outside.
