Susumu is a participant of Crab 1, joining the Clean-Up Crew. He is a mild mannered, middle aged man who works as an assassin for an organization that decides at what time people are meant to die in order to better favor the world.
Appearance
Personality
Susumu is polite and cordial with both allies and opponents. He is a professional through and through who is used to taking lives but does not rejoice in making others suffer, acting more as an agent of death - behind the kind smile there are the eyes of a killer. Outside of that he seems to be wise and enjoy dancing and cooking well enough.
Powers and Abilities
Susumu is calm and collected and an experienced assassin. He fights using both hand to hand, syringes, and even has a gun which he is adept at using. He is also an excellent dancer and a more than decent cook.

History
Round 1
Susumu (won, entry) vs Conqueror (lost, entry) in Dance. Match page: C1 R1 - Susumu vs Conqueror
In their shared canon reality, Conqueror who considered he was good at dancing wanted to show his team his resolve, and he faced Susumu. As they both approached each other, both recognized in the other the ultimate dancer skill, an unyielding spirit, that they were perfectly compatible. Both then danced gloriously and like crazy, and complimented each other. The Gamemaster wondered then if this wasn’t supposed to be a contest and they had forgotten.
Round 2
Susumu and Pikralida (lost, entry) vs Emily and Super J (won, entry) in Main Course. Match page: C1 R2 - Susumu and Pikralida vs Emily and Super J
In Pikralida and Susumu’s reality, Pikralida was going through the forest half dressed and tired when the Gamemaster found her and went AWOOGA, which made her throw a cleaver at his face. Pikralida collected herbs and hunted a bird, later donning a huntress attire. Later she woke up somewhere, wondering where she was, and Susumu said she had been trying to cross the dimensional border like him to leave the tournament and was captured. Susumu politely pointed out Pikralida was half naked and she went to change (the GM went AWOOGA again and got a cleaver on the face again). Pikralida then dressed and went on to collect herbs and hunt the bird again (no clue why it repeats, maybe pages are out of order or Pikralida anon drew it twice). Meanwhile Susumu negotiated with an old lady of the forest who gave him a knife. Using it all, they both began cooking together and made numerous meals. The old lady judged the food a ten out of ten, and Wietse liked it, but Berbie said it smelt like roadkill and got a stroke after eating it, dying.
In Super J and Emily’s canon reality, both duos were at the kitchen together ready for the cook off. Franken girl said she wanted brains to eat, Berbie asked Wietse if he didn’t think they were trapped in a Douglas Adams fanfic comic as Super J put on his mask, Pikralida put on a bikini much to Berbie’s taste. Both teams planned to do simple classic dishes. Emily decided to trust Super J’s recipe: a turkey dinner. His strategy was called “Rooted Together”, to gather all Crabs to enjoy a dinner together and be grateful. Using his powers, he summoned Frisky Fridge who created numerous vegetables and ingredients, which both began hunting and slashing for their pot, with Super J declaring he would not allow Nova’s death to be in vain. Emily then plugged herself into the oven in order to keep the temperature perfect. Although cooked, the tethering made the turkey escape the oven alive, so Emily burned it with a laser - in his final words it declared they would hold a vigil for Nova, and all Crabs enjoyed the dinner together.
Round 3
Susumu (lost) vs Justin Franciscus Willemsma (won, entry). Match page: C1 R3 - Susumu vs Justin
In Justin’s canon reality, Susumu entered the arena cheered by No’e, and he had injured his hand but he said he could fight even so. He noted half amused he could not expect much mercy from Justin, who walked in full of resolution. As Berbie explained the rules, Justin took off his shirt and threw it at Susumu’s head, blinding the assassin, then knocking him with a kick to the back knee. Franken girl noted how uncharacteristic it was and Wietse was disgusted. Susumu however was not defeated, and threw a syringe at Justin, then charged at him - however Justin did a hammer punch and knocked him to the ground again. Justin then began stomping on Susumu’s hurt hand mercilessly. As the torture continued, Sunshine team worried that they would have to stop Justin as soon as he won while the Clean-Up crew was angry and worried for the older man. Justin then smashed his knee on the broken hand with everyone reacting in shock. The Gamemaster however interrupted, saying those were the rules of the game - and stopping Asha who was attempting to kidnap Berlo. Seeing his crushed hand and wincing in pain, Susumu gave up. However, Justin kept beating up Susumu despite Berbie’s warnings. As his team rushed to stop him, the Gamemaster ordered Justin to cease or be disqualified. Justin then said without a word as the Clean-Up Crew tended to Susumu’s wounds.
After Crab 1
After the tournament ended, Linda used her wish to return Susumu to his world, where he would later die in his own story.
