Aye, dear Janny, we need to save the Universe!
Super J (real name Julian Jones) is a participant of CRAB, appearing both in Crab 1 as a member of Sunshine Over The Farm and in Crab 3 as a member of Monomyth (replacing Adni). He is a legacy hero tasked with observing different events of the multiverse, as well as fixing issues and recruiting or summoning other heroes for the task. He is the fifth person to take the mantle, in his case from his father.
Appearance
Personality
Super J is heroic at heart. He has a flair for the dramatic, turning his rematch with Janitor into a grudge wrestling match in order to keep the audience and the Gamemaster entertained and distracted, using his powers to get into the Janitor’s head. His confidence dwindles because the task of observing and recording so many events in the universe has made him face more than a mortal should - this ultimately makes him develop his own ulterior motives beyond the tournament and even dare to plan against the Gamemaster in order to save those he learned to know.
Super J had great love for his father, a person he admired and wishes to be like. He also shows a deal of caring for the universe and those he meets, willing to intercede and not just observe if the situation requires it.
Powers and Abilities
Super J’s main ability is to project illusions, called “tethering”, which border more on complete manipulation of reality. To its full extent, it allows Super J to warp the reality surrounding him into a dream-like state based on the beliefs and thoughts of those he faces - confidence and certainty would grant him a better tether ability, permitting him to entirely transport them into these new realities or even strike through unexpected events outside of the reality they see themselves tethered in. The ability can also be created to cause minor confusions or cast illusions to mess with opponents. Using it he was also able to summon beings of strange conceptual nature such as living ingredients.
Outside of that, Super J is shown to be an accomplished wrestler, easily going toe to toe and even ultimately outmaneuvering the Janitor with a powerful clothesline.
He owns a competitive giant turtle named Harriet the Rush, older than time, which he uses as a ride, as well as a magical santa elf pouch full of trinkets or any convenient tool he requires for the situation at hand. His existence itself seems to be tied to his duty as an observer and recorder of multiversal events.

History
Crab 1
Recruitment
Super J was dragged into the tournament after winning a race against the wizard, alongside his turtle - seeing the many dimensions dragged as well into the conflict, he approached the Gamemaster, who affirmed it was Julian’s role to register all these worlds and that he would learn from it. Although he seemed unconvinced, Super J accepted the task and prepared to face the tourney.
He met later with his team, and Justin recognized many of them were scared and wanted to go home but cheered them up with the words of Johan Cruijff: “You have got to shoot, otherwise you won’t score.”
Super J considered the many challenges possible for the tournament. He was against doing sports only - because they made him go overboard and lose all sense of fun in his competitiveness. Meanwhile, he had experience on all other areas.

Round 1
Super J (won, entry) vs Joseph Pryde (lost, entry) in Dance. Match page: C1 R1 - Super J vs Joseph
In Joseph’s reality, he saw Super J waving at him and got scared due to his opponent being a superhero that could kick his ass, so he quit without dancing.
In Super J’s canon reality, he faced Joseph. Berbie commented he would like to support Berlo, the Sunshine Over the Farm team said they enjoyed being the underdogs while Linda commanded Super J to shred his opponent. The Frankenstein girl then quoted David Bowie and told them both to dance - confident, Joseph prepared to engage in his Pizza Sauce Dance, but Super J told him regrettably he would not allow the performance no matter how curious he was about it - using his mental power, he put everyone but the Gamemaster in the arena into a sleep, the Gamemaster noting they all needed the rest anyways.
Round 2
Susumu and Pikralida (lost, entry) vs Emily and Super J (won, entry) in Main Course. Match page: C1 R2 - Susumu and Pikralida vs Emily and Super J
In Pikralida and Susumu’s reality, Pikralida was going through the forest half dressed and tired when the Gamemaster found her and went AWOOGA, which made her throw a cleaver at his face. Pikralida collected herbs and hunted a bird, later donning a huntress attire. Later she woke up somewhere, wondering where she was, and Susumu said she had been trying to cross the dimensional border like him to leave the tournament and was captured. Susumu politely pointed out Pikralida was half naked and she went to change (the GM went AWOOGA again and got a cleaver on the face again). Pikralida then dressed and went on to collect herbs and hunt the bird again (no clue why it repeats, maybe pages are out of order or Pikralida anon drew it twice). Meanwhile Susumu negotiated with an old lady of the forest who gave him a knife. Using it all, they both began cooking together and made numerous meals. The old lady judged the food a ten out of ten, and Wietse liked it, but Berbie said it smelt like roadkill and got a stroke after eating it, dying.
In Super J and Emily’s canon reality, both duos were at the kitchen together ready for the cook off. Franken girl said she wanted brains to eat, Berbie asked Wietse if he didn’t think they were trapped in a Douglas Adams fanfic comic as Super J put on his mask, Pikralida put on a bikini much to Berbie’s taste. Both teams planned to do simple classic dishes. Emily decided to trust Super J’s recipe: a turkey dinner. His strategy was called “Rooted Together”, to gather all Crabs to enjoy a dinner together and be grateful. Using his powers, he summoned Frisky Fridge who created numerous vegetables and ingredients, which both began hunting and slashing for their pot, with Super J declaring he would not allow Nova’s death to be in vain. Emily then plugged herself into the oven in order to keep the temperature perfect. Although cooked, the tethering made the turkey escape the oven alive, so Emily burned it with a laser - in his final words it declared they would hold a vigil for Nova, and all Crabs enjoyed the dinner together.
Round 3
Janitor (won, entry) vs Super J (lost, entry). Match page: C1 R3 - Janitor vs Super J
In Super J’s reality, both faced each other in the Bucket, the announcers believing Janitor would easily beat the hero. Janitor had a smoke first, and disarmed his opponent with words, noting how he hid his face because he lacked a backbone, how his role was inherited and full of loathing, how he refused to put in real work. He then demonstrated what he meant by stripping his shirt and showing his secretly chiseled, muscular body - the physically superior Janny began beating down Super J then, threatening to make himself a new broom out of his spine, and crushing him to dust against his chest. However, it was then revealed this was a mental projection caused by the hero, who declared Janny’s job had gotten him full of hot air: prickling him with a needle, the warped reality made the Janitor deflate like a balloon and sent him flying off the Bucket.
In Janitor’s canon reality, he was approached by Super J as he was cleaning the floor. Super J told Janny to actually fight even if it wasn’t his profession or otherwise they would be stuck in the Bucket forever (foreshadowing). Janny asked if Super J really expected to ever leave the Bucket and wondered if they were not stuck there forever to fight for entertainment or die. The hero refused to give up hope, but the Janitor replied that hope was for those who refused to see the truth, and that either way Super J would get nothing from beating up a Janitor. Super J then declared giving up was not a hero’s option, and the Janitor replied that there were wars that could not be won, that the Gamemaster had already won, and that there would be no prize for anyone - it was just not worth it. Deciding then to take the honor to free Janny from his misery, Super J then attacked, but the Janitor blocked his fists with his broom and warned his opponent he was too young to die - Super J refused to back down, and attacked once again, a savage battle ensued with the hero breaking the Janitor’s broom and then them exchanging blows and kicks. Super J then grabbed Janny and flew upwards, dropping him from the height of the Bucket. As he fell and remembered the voices of Linda, Berbie, and Wietse encouraging him (kinda), Janny set his feet on the Bucket’s wall and ran in circles to avoid the fall, climbing back where Super J was. Holding the hero by the neck, he seemed to be about to throw him off the arena but ultimately pulled him back in, noting again he was too young to die. Super J then teared up and admitted he just wanted to return home - finding his tears amusing, the Gamemaster gave Janny the victory.
Crab 2
Although Super J did not join Crab 2, he appeared in the final battle between Janitor and Fernando, giving Janitor his broom to even the match against his armed opponent, revealing himself as a spectator of the event.
Crab 3
Super J came back to the tournament, joining Monomyth as the replacement of Adni, who had retired after facing the Rapist Ant and losing. His sole goal was to face Janitor in a grudge match for their previous epic battle.
Round 3
Janitor (won, entry) vs Super J (lost, entry). Match page: C3 R3 - Janitor vs Super J
In Super J’s reality, he fought the Janitor in a wrestling match, messing with his opponent’s head through projecting illusions, and ultimately dodging his attacks and finishing him with a clothesline. However, this was all a plot to keep the wizard distracted as he pulled the Janitor into a dream dimension with his power, revealing his true intention - to ally together and find heroes to fight against the Gamemaster. Because Tenebris and Lurker saw through his power, the Gamemaster realized Super J’s intentions and set Berbie to destroy him and Janny.
In Janitor’s canon reality, Janny entered the arena on his bike and was attacked by the angry Super J, and a battle ensued. Super J got the advantage, kicking the Janitor in the leg (making him sob for 8 pages) and then with a rush attack threw him to the ground - however, Janitor continued fighting and slowly turned the balance to his favor, ending in a double punch that destroyed most of the arena surrounding them. Declaring his intention to win, Super J threw a final punch, but slipped off the arena, being grabbed by Janny. Asking to be let go, ultimately Super J slipped to his doom much to the Janitor’s sadness. Later while the Servants celebrated the victory, Janitor was looking sad, and told Sanctus that if they were to win, they would need to think of a greater cause for their wish. The party was interrupted then as Super J showed himself alive to join it, and for the first time, a surprised Janny smiled.
After Crab 3
Super J returned to his duties after the tournament. He is seen hanging with the Janitor and Godefroy during Kome’s epilogue.
