Sack and Google: A living sack of paper and his butler AI.
Appearance
Personality
Sack is a participant of Crab 3, working for the team Brat Pack. A living sack of paper who gives no fucks, he initially joins for the simple wish of making money before being joined by his All-Knowing AI Butler, Google.
Sack is an arrogant fool, filled with ambitions that are beyond his scope if it’s not for his AI Butler Google aid, however he can focus very well on his objectives which, while it doesn’t result in his favor given his lack of foresight, it won’t let it stop him from trying anyway showcasing his determination.
Google despite being machine with a shape 2 meter cube, shows multiple signs of human like expression in his wording, despite that he is still calculative and sometimes still expresses his coldness. He shows to be unfaltering in his loyalty to Sack as well as resourceful and knowledgeable, if a little trollish (such as encrypting Kome’s romance novels or acting sarcastic towards his master).
Powers and Abilities
Sack on its own is resilient and heavy despite the material he is made of, he’s well acknowledged on computers, up to a point where he could know how to give instructions to an ancient machine with no problem in Centuria. On his Round 2, he also received a gun that can shoot infinite ammo which came with a book of instructions, allowing him to take more offensive approaches. He shows to have more than decent aim.
Google’s power is the fact that he knows more than he seems -he seems to hold incredible amounts of knowledge- and that he can be anywhere yet he’s not seen moving, using some kind of quantum transportation to blitz and surprise unsuspecting enemies - he was fast enough to even rip off an opponent’s organs without anyone noticing, putting him on the spot of one of the fastest Crabs of the setting.
Background
History
Recruitment
Sack read in a poster that a tournament was being held and that he could “Fight hobos from other dimnims”. Thinking it might have been a profitable venture, Sack signed up via the wizard “Wizhat” and reciting an incantation given by him, Sack then fell in the Bucket like a rock, Killing Kevin in the process and becoming unconscious. Sack would later wake up and hear from the GM that he is now in the tournament with the others, so he would later decide to know some of the other Crabs, meeting up with Harry Chamberland, Lenard and Ocapon, he however didn’t have much time to talk with them as he would later be teleported with his team members in the soon to be named (B)Rat Pack and learn their names as well as to state his objective (be rich).
Round 1
Sack and Google (lost, entry) vs Vera (won, entry) in Tech Recovery. Match page: C3 R1 - Sack and Google vs Vera
In Centuria, Sack joined the Empire while Vera was made part of the Forest Alliance.
In Sack’s reality, he was imprisoned by the empire due to being made of paper, where they tested his programming skills with some rudimentary tests. After passing them, the Empire offered Sack his freedom if he would activate the dormant robot on the forest and take it to the capital, which Sack accepted thinking he could make some money out of it, although he considered he could not be the only one with such an idea. Meanwhile, Vera had been sent by the Forest Alliance to destroy the robot with a vial of acid for being too dangerous. Sack walked into the giant robot by chance, noting the king likely had a superiority complex due to its size, and tried to break into its sealed door with a blowtorch, failing and just getting dirt on him. In the end he managed to enter and while looking for valuables he accidentally turned it on, making it stand. Meanwhile Vera climbed into it, while Sack began easily figuring out how to pilot the mech. As Vera tried to pour the vial in the inner machinery, Sack grabbed her hand and declared he had found the robot first, and the conflict ensued - however, the robot walking sent both flying and the vial broke, opening a hole on the ground. Vera tried to use her gun to shoot at some inner gears then, but Sack grabbed her leg and tripped her. Sack tried to hit Vera with her own gun, turning a lever by accident, but she easily grabbed it and shot at him, missing. Sack mocked Vera, but she quickly recharged - however the lever pulled made the robot tilt and she fell backwards, the ground falling as she tried to grab it due to being weakened by the acid, and Vera fell off the machine to her doom. Happily Sack declared it was a job well done, while the robot stormed through the capital and its terrorized citizens.
In Vera’s canon reality, the Admiral Pizza found Sack, having heard he was good with computers, which Sack admitted was true. He gave the sack then the job of fixing a broken computer in a temple which could create algorithms predicting the actions of every person in the kingdom, allowing the Empire to hunt down its enemies, telling him there would probably be no one there to interrupt him - this would be in exchange for his freedom as Sack had been arrested for being made of paper-. When a soldier wondered if it was wise to send Sack alone, the Admiral admitted the idea of knowing the future made sailing boring so it was half half to him regarding the matter - it would all depend on whether Sack gained any more convictions in his life during CRAB or not (foreshadowing). As Sack worked on the machine, Vera appeared, and aiming her gun at him told him to stop. She interrogated Sack, who explained her the computer’s ability and purpose, and she called him a fool who was being manipulated by the Admiral who would throw him in prison once he was done, and noted how Sack did not even run away despite being alone, noting he had no convictions and just ensured his own destruction. Sack’s response was to pull a gun on her and shoot, but Vera had seen it coming and disarmed him by shooting at his hand. She pointed out he was like an animal and that one should know what they fight for, - he could create the best machine that could understand anything yet not even know his own cause. As she did this, she turned him into an explosive device, leaving the temple as Sack exploded bringing down the structure and computer with him.
After the round, Sack received a package from Google, after Sack broke a crowbar trying to open it he relied on Gouda to open it for him, which revealed the contents to be supplies: an infinite ammo Pistol and a manual on how to use a gun with a red text written “To Sack From G”.
He was seen as well in the Brat Pack dorms, cheering up Kome and ending up celebrating alongside them despite their defeat.
Round 2
Sack and Google (won, entry) vs Mogan Sae-Hyeon (lost, entry) in Killing God. Match page: C3 R2 - Sack and Google vs Mogan
In Japan, Sack took the anime potion (Kirby) while Sae took the age up elixir.
In Sae’s reality, due to the Freakers enslaving her, the Jester appeared and unleashed a horde of demons on them, telling them about how demon speech sounded like singing to humans because they could not comprehend it, and said the human mind tried to put things in order but could not see reality (implying the freaks actions were an illusion) until it died, after which he exploded Florida Man’s head. The Jester asked then Z where was its mask if he was a demon but Z replied they weren’t one, so the Jester suggested the hooded one to run as several demons surrounded the Freakers. Sack did not show up at all in the whole thing, 0/10, come on man.
In Sack’s canon reality, he was happily strolling about when he saw Mogan’s ship shooting lasers. Climbing into it and surprising her, Sack asked her purpose, and she revealed she wished to unleash the goddess of all clowns, the Honkmother, and fuse with her to achieve godhood. Sack was not impressed. Although Sae offered Sack the opportunity to stop her with a sword, Sack instead shot the sword and decided to wait for her to achieve Godhood before killing them both. They waited playing poker and friendly conversing, before Sae finally transformed and dragged Sack into a new dimension. Although Sack’s mind was so full of useless computer knowledge Sae’s new powers could not affect him, she did reflect on him during the half an hour of pointless shooting he did, which allowed her to see Sack’s true wish of destroying his own world. Traveling further inside his mind, they both faced each other on a hammer hit event ala Kirby, and Sack reigned supreme, destroying the Honkmother and killing Sae.
Sack assisted to the party made for Tripp’s recovery, where he is seen being contacted by Google on phone, with Kome noting someone had been helping him from his world.
After the round, Sack would join a meeting with the rest of the (B)rat Pack where Wietse, in an attempt to improve chances of success, asked everybody to share their wishes. Wietse and Hime wanted everyone to return home, Gouda wanted infinite cheese, Tripp jokingly said a burger while Kome wanted to be beneath no one. Sack, upon discovering that he could wish for anything in the tournament, expressed that he would wish to destroy his universe, much to the surprise of the (B)rat Pack. Although he was at first against explaining himself, after some convincing from Kome, Sack gave his reasoning, saying his world is entirely bland and unchanging, and its people don’t seem to talk at all as they are busy with their jobs to care, he also adds that he attempted on getting a hobby to make their life a little bit interesting but nothing stuck, which led his choice to either “Die out of boredom” or “Suicide”, and as he was about to head to the gun store to decide, he found a cadaver of another Sack character shot in the head which made him realize that the issue wasn’t him not finding anything enjoyable but that his world instead was too bland for its own sake. He found his conviction then and decided to destroy it. He was then interrupted by his AI butler Google who has appeared out of nowhere, and introduced himself to the rest of the team, getting a positive reaction with the exception of Kome who she looks at Google with doubt, noticing his speed. Google noted his method of transportation was beyond Kome’s mental capabilities and that in either case, Wietse had gotten what he wanted of the meeting as everyone seemed more motivated and resolute.
Round 3
Dr. Stitch (lost, entry) vs Sack and Google (won, entry). Match page: C3 R3 - Dr. Stitch vs Sack and Google
In Stitch’s reality, The Doctor gathered the bodies of dead Crabs in the tournament to make themselves battle ready, noting this would be their best creation. She was found by Lenard mid self operation, naked and with one arm gone, and the bat wondered what they were up to. Stitch explained and, Lenard noting this was disrespectful of the fallen, was completely on board with the idea and helped his team-mate with the experiments. When the day of the battle began, Stitch came in hooded and listened with Sack as Berbie explained the rules. Stitch said Sack was an interesting being and Sack replied Stitch was pretty scary, which she took as a compliment. She then revealed her operated body, having grafted onto herself the body parts of many fallen Crabs such as Pe’le’s arm, Jupiter teeth or Adni’s wings. Noting Sack had brought a friend, Stitch revealed then her experiment, made with Chuckspon’s body and Noot’s head. Google told Sack to not be scared and to shoot at them in the head, as their consciousness was still stored in the brain. While watching them talk, Stitch commented she didn’t believe “Google” was meant to look like that, and the moment she took her eyes off the butler it had teleported behind both and scared them. The abomination reacted by leaping over the butler and began pummeling at it with his fists. Sack then shot at the relieved Stitch, missing and hitting their heart instead, which only pissed them off. Stitch dodged the next bullets flying and used Anzu’s arm to slash Sack, throwing them to the edge of the arena and stepping on them activating the counter. At 3, Sack managed to shoot again, hitting Stitch in the head and standing up. Using the opportunity of Stitch being in shock from the bullet, Sack jumped to attempt another shot at zero distance but Stitch instinctively reacted and used Pe’le’s arm to burn him to a crisp while noting she should have done that before. Berbie declared Stitch the winner, who was still too shocked to process the celebrations.
In Sack’s canon reality, Both Him and Stitch were on the Bucket ready to fight along with their respective companies (Google and an Experiment), as soon as they got Berbie’s fight announcement they began to play Chess (with Stitch just playing With checkers pieces) followed by them playing ticktacktoe and afterwards Hangman (with Sack being the one who does the hanging) all the while Sack getting more sweaty as he moved closer and closer to the borders of the arena. Tired of the games Stitch decided to grab Sack and kick him next to their creation, an amalgam of various dead Crabs stitched together into an abomination. Sack then began shooting Stitch’s creation continuously with no effect while it stood there doing nothing, much to Stitch’s embarrassment. After about one hour of that, the doctor tried to order their creation to do something and it stood there motionless, then another hour passed and Stitch got so mad she beheaded the abomination. Grabbing Sack while expressing their frustration at his stupidity, Stitch began closing to the edge to drop Sack out of bounds, but then heard the noise of a brain falling into the arena, and turned to find that Google had ripped the being’s brain and explained to the H.A.U.N.T. member that by using a child-like mind to create the monster, it became fascinated with the cartoon-look of Sack and thus was too entranced to do anything. Before Stitch could take revenge on Google, Sack used the distraction to grab his opponent and throw her in the air, then with Google kicking his gun back at him he shot at her until the doctor exploded, ending the fight.
After Crab 3
After Brat Pack won, Sack became the God of Technology, gaining a Pimping Throne in the process. He gave his gun as a gratitude gift to Dylan for his decisive help, noting he would have no more need of it with his new powers, and had a conversation with Google in which he admitted his team had grown on him during the tournament, giving him more reasons to be. Although he would later take a small break to take in the victory and the new lifestyle that came with it, Sack along with the rest of the (B)Rat Pack became the Bratheon, and following his Boss intentions he set out to help those who wished for his help (mostly those who he had fought first).
He is seen in Kome’s epilogue after a year of the victory, playing videogames with Tripp and later celebrating the anniversary of their ascent.
