Yuna
Therapist Bionicle
Field Value Full Name Yuna/Runa Alias Gender Female Age 1000+ World Bara Magna Occupation Therapist Status Alive (likely returned home) Role Participant Team Bucket Servants Edition Crab 3 Creator Wojjie
Normally when something goes wrong someone with evil intentions is behind it! All we have to do is find them and stop them! Their evil influence will disappear and everything will go back to normal!
Yuna is a participant of Crab 3, joining the team Bucket Servants. She is a toa working as a therapist and defender of war refugees from a thousand year war she secretly participated on - her violent personality born from such traumatic events sealed inside a mask as a second self of hers, called Runa.
Appearance
Personality
Yuna acts upbeat and is generally nice to everyone. She lacks knowledge about other worlds and tends to jump to conclusions quickly, acting first before listening to any warnings and thus dragging others to her antics. She is polite and willing to listen to others, but convinced of her own ideas.
The girl is also very sentimental and can run and cry when pressured. This is likely a result of having hidden most of her violence and power in the form of Runa, who instead shows herself to be ruthless and uncaring of others, merely playing Yuna in order to be free and have the opportunity to fight.
Powers and Abilities
Yuna has powerful psycho-kinetic abilities giving her a wide range of powers. She is able to hear the surface thoughts of any being around her. She can use telekinesis to levitate both herself and others, flying at good speed as means of traveling. She is able as well to perform “reading” on an object’s memories, allowing her to gain some information about its owner, to teleport, and to even influence the thoughts of creatures directly engaging with her.
On Round 3, Yuna accesses to let her evil personality, Runa, out. In comparison to Yuna, Runa uses her powers far more offensively, using her telekinesis to twist Godefroy’s nuts, as well as generating energy barriers or even a devastating energy beam strong enough to equally clash against Godefroy’s nuclear one. The mask she wears also allows her to become intangible.
In terms of pure physical strength, she shows to be far above a regular human, casually knocking out Gouda with a slap and leaving her a bloody mess.
Background
History
Round 1
Frankie Fisher (won, entry) vs Yuna (lost, entry) in Find A Cure. Match page: C3 R1 - Frankie Fisher vs Yuna
In Centuria, both Yuna and Frankie joined the Forest Alliance.
In their shared reality, they were both sent to cure the Plague destroying the Forest Alliance, despite Frankie’s doubts that she could do a good job as she was a therapist. Upon arriving Frankie was attacked by a wolf, that Yuna put to sleep with a suggestion. Seeing their mercy, the Forest dwellers allowed them to properly teleport near Der Baum, and welcomed the healers from another dimension, with Der Baum explaining the issues presented by the White Plague and allowing them to take any resources. Hearing this, Yuna resolved she would heal the plague by finding out who was causing it and bringing them to justice. Despite Frankie’s insistence that it would not heal the ill, Yuna did not listen and excitedly went to hunt for the plague spreader, laughing at the silliness of “Germ Theory”. Yuna interviewed a few sickly forest dwellers, who spoke about having met a rat girl, then used her power to read the memories of fabric left behind by this rat. Meanwhile, Frankie began the arduous task of investigating and studying on her own a cure of the plague using the Forest library and the magical implements granted to her by them - however, her efforts did not bear fruit and she wondered how she could heal something never seen before in Centuria, wondering as well if it was anthrax. Just as she was losing hope, she managed to find out about a Lumin Tree, whose fruit was said to be able to heal any illness. Back to Yuna, she encountered Gouda, the aforementioned rat, about to blow such a tree, and despite Gouda’s pleading Yuna beat her in one punch. She returned asking if everyone was healed, and was disappointed to find it was not the case. When Frankie appeared and said she had found a possible cure, Yuna recognized the tree from before, although she was more fascinated at the concept of books. Then, the robot picked up Frankie with telekinesis and went flying towards the tree, with Frankie’s thoughts of annoyance and indignation being silenced once Yuna asked her to think quietly. On the tree, Yuna tried to take the fruit, but couldn’t pull it off the stem despite her best efforts, even ignoring her own dark side’s suggestion to help. Desperate seeing Yuna about to break the tree, Frankie read and shouted it was meant to be someone “untainted” who could grab the panacea. Yuna wondered how she would be “tainted” and suggested Frankie try it, but Frankie argued her condition counted as a disease as well. Despite this, once she was asked to try, the fruit came out easily, with Yuna looking somewhat sour and understanding the taint could refer to Runa. After this, they both worked on the cure, which Yuna spread flying through the entire forest, healing everyone.
Round 2
Yuna (won, entry) vs Victory Man (lost, entry) in Koinobori. Match page: C3 R2 - Yuna vs Victory Man
In Japan, Victory Man took the gender-shift potion while Yuna took on the Age Elixir.
In Victory Man’s reality, he was set on defeating Yuna, through giving birth to countless spawn and thus fixing Japan’s declining birth-rate. Flying towards the shrine where Yuna was wondering her next steps, Victory Man drank the gender-shift potion and became Victory Woman. Victory Woman gloated she was already filled with spawn and that they would all share in her victory - when Yuna tried to challenge that notion, the abomination bent her with one swift punch to the stomach, then declared her own water had broken. It flew to find a worthy place where to give birth - an Osaka media station. In front of the cameras and the running periodists it birthed a huge amount of spawn, which she ordered to go and reach maturity during the day to bolster the birthrate. After that, Victory Woman turned back into Victory Man through sheer force of will alone.
In Yuna’s canon reality, the rest of the Bucket Servant girls explained to Yuna what sex was and what her mission ensued, much to her horror and disgust. Yuna left and began by asking a random Japanese man why he didn’t have kids, but he responded with panic at her form, so she mentally manipulated him to find her normal. The man then responded work didn’t leave him any time for kids, and that Yuna reminded him of a certain person who asked people to have kids all the time. He suggested Yuna asked more people and she did, interviewing several Japanese: some were too busy with work, some too busy with gaming, some were gay, some being sick, some being depressed… When she read the compiled list of issues, she was surprised to find “baby-eating” by oni as the eighth biggest reason of low natality. Meanwhile, an oni was about to eat a baby from a house that hadn’t lit incense but was knocked out of it by Yuna launching a microwave at them, then Evelin smiting them with a hammer. After the 50th oni killed, the birthrate went from 1374 to 1400 - not much, but enough to beat Victory Man who just offered free golden homunculus pregnancies at the side of the road.
Round 3
Yuna (won, entry) vs Godefroy Des Ètoiles (lost, entry). Match page: C3 R3 - Yuna vs Godefroy
In Godefroy’s reality, a savage battle was ensuing, exchanging punches, then Godefroy kicking a table to Runa who returned it to him with her telekinesis before he broke it. Runa happily told Godefroy he could keep punching her, it would not bring Teresa back - this angered the Frenchman enough to transform into her sun form, and teleported behind the toa, doing a series of attacks that launched her up in the sky, then appearing above and pulling a mighty lariat all the way to the ground. Victorious and burned, Godefroy was met by Sae and Tredecima who highfived him and congratulated his victory, then Teresa who hugged him and told him he was dumb for risking his body that way. It was shown in the end he had been soundly knocked out at some point by Runa, and was just hallucinating in his sleep.
In Yuna’s canon reality, Yuna was meditating as Runa tried to convince her to put on the mask, promising her back her power and violence. Though hesitant, Runa argued everyone would be erased if she didn’t win, so Yuna ultimately acceded to let her out, switching masks just as Evelin walked in and watched in shock. Later then the fight began, Tenebris introducing Runa and then Godefroy, before Godefroy told him to shut up and snatched the microphone to introduce himself and challenge his opponent to a friday night funky battle. They danced to the beat, until Runa got tired and used telekinesis to give Godefroy testicular torsion, making him drop to the ground in pain. Furious, Godefroy flew and began blasting Runa with several fire attacks, which she stopped with one hand, then Runa also flew towards her opponent, dodging more and more blasts. An incredibly quick exchange of blows ensued through the sky, Godefroy powered up, and threw an enormous nuclear beam attack, to which Runa responded with her own massive energy attack, both beams collapsing dragon ball style. Runa then appeared herself behind the Frenchman, and attacked him from the back, knocking him out and defeating him, Godefroy landing on the ground unconscious.
After Crab 3
After Brat Pack’s victory, Yuna likely returned to her world. It is not known if she made any wish to the new gods. In Kome’s epilogue, she is seen visiting Awesoman’s world and witnessing him defeat another braphog titan.
Relationships
Life Within CRAB
- Kome initially confused her for a mindless golem (like those in her world) and thus ordered her around. Fed up, Yuna called Kome out for her mean attitude, but Kome began pointing out Yuna’s flaws and the robot girl ran away crying.
- Yuna and Frankie worked as therapists for different Crabs through the tournament.

Trivia
- 8 out of 10 authors confess on not using many Yuna cameos due to her being too difficult to draw.
- Yuna doesn’t pee but requires far more oxygen than a human.
- Some say she made an exhibition registering (made up) data of every adult crab’s genitalia. Some say such a cursed place still remains in the Bucket, sealed forever, its name sending shivers through many adventurers and newcomers.
