Doe Deerly is a participant of Crab 5 as a member of Cat Summer. She is a psychedelic abstract deity in the form of a purple female cartoon deer. She spends her days bumming around with her awakened dinosaur friend Dino; playing video games and getting into hijinks. She is a very silly individual with godlike powers that are considered quite dangerous.
Appearance
Doe takes the form of a 5’2” purple female deer. She has light pink antlers, pink spiky hair, droopy ears, a pink nose, a green tongue, and a pointy tooth. Her eyes are yellow with curved pupils that point in opposite directions. She has a pink belly, black tipped hands and hooves, a pink heart in the center of her forehead, and eight pink hearts on her back.
When she does her Twister attack, her body turns into a rainbow tornado with her antlers stick out of the top.
In Round 2, Doe wears a grass hula skirt, a pink lei, and a pink flower headdress.
Her true form is of a floating genderless amoeba-like entity with a centralized yellow eye and squiggly rainbow segments encased in a greenish yellow membrane. She transforms into this form in Round 3.
Personality
Doe is very hyper and zany, and is always looking for a good time and a chance to crack jokes, even if the situation is serious.
Doe loves nature, but appreciates modern amenities like arcades.
She is very friendly and loyal, but her immense power and shenanigans can get her into trouble.
Powers and Abilities
Doe’s psychedelic aura gives her multiple powerful abilities. Doe has the ability to fly and shapeshift, as well as the ability to transport herself and break through objects with her twister form.
Her tongue can be used as an additional fingered hand and have a diamond eye in the palm.
Doe has the ability to learn everything about a person by touching them and is excellent at reading a room.
Background
Doe Deerly is from Abstractiah, a realm equally as bizarre and unusual as her. She left home to find herself and after hopping through multiple realities, destroying multiple, she found herself in the real world.
Doe met a feral dinosaur that she gave sentience and named dino, and the two are best friends that goof around and get into trouble together. The fun kind.
Doe’s full name is Doeberry Deerly, a name she dislikes and only her parents call her.
History
Pit Entry
Doe (WON) versus Houndclops (LOSS)
Doe arrives in a field to interview for Crab 5, where she’s attacked and grappled by the Houndclops. Doe uses her psychedelic aura to entrance the Houndclops, then violent dissolve him into nothingness.
Round 1: Hell
Canon
Doe and Chad are tasks with finding hellhounds and battling them. Doe finds High-Hound, Chad finds Cool-Hound. They get into a Pokemon style battle, but High-Hound overdoses and loses to Cool-Hound.
Non-canon
Jealous of Chad’s new hellhound stealing the show, Doe decides to get a hellhound of her own. The demonic pet store owner mistakes Doe for Satan and gives her a flaming hellhound. Doe takes her new dog to upstage Chad’s dog. The dog does, wooing Chad’s dog and earning his respect.
Round 2: Hawaii
Doe (LOSS) versus Foxglove (WON)
Canon
Foxglove is crestfallen after being divorced by Satan and disliked by many fellow Crabs. Doe meets with her opponent and gives her the confidence to compete in the hula. They do their battle dance with Foxglove winning and Doe being proud of her. In the end they become friends.
Non-canon
Doe and Foxglove compete in a hula contest. Doe takes the min-max potion and Foxglove takes both the male and alien potions. Doe gets great hula stamina, but becomes ultra slow speed. Foxglove gets and advantage, but struggles to control her new body and falls down. Doe lasts longer hulaing, but her heart begins to beat too slow and she collapses, but shows she’s still alive by letting one rip.
Round 3: The Bucket
Doe (LOSS) versus Skater Stick (WON)
Canon
Doe and Skater Stick get into and epic fight in the Bucket, which includes sick kickflips, Doe learning Skater’s whole backstory, and them battling as spinning twisters. Skater Stick gets the final blow on Doe, sending her out of bounds. Doe returns to give him props on the victory.
Non-canon
Doe is tasked with fighting Skater Stick in the Bucket. Doe does not take it seriously, despite her teammates’ warnings of his prowess. Skater Stick mops the floor with Doe, skating over her and injuring her with her own antler. Doe enters her true form to try and take him down, but he’s too fast after applying a second hat to his head. Eventually, Doe gets the idea to manifest a pencil to erase Skater Stick and redraw him out of bounds. She then consoles a saddened Skater Stick, suggesting they skate sometime.
Cameos
Round 1
Locket (canon): Doe does not physically appear, but Locket calls her on her cellphone to deliver the back-up car after Natum melts the first one. Doe successfully delivers the car off screen.
Round 2
Locket (canon): Doe appears with Cat Summer talking to Locket before her match. Doe, due to taking the slowdown potion, speaks in a drawn out manner and is behind in the conversation.
Round 3
Locket (canon): Doe appears in the front row of Locket’s wedding to Edric.
Side Stories
Locket’s Round 2 Voting Art (Locket): Doe, still under the effects of the Min-Max potion, is tasked with putting sunscreen on Locket. Her slowness causes Locket to get sun-burnt before Doe can get started.
